The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.

Applications at the moment are open and will close on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the following criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house by using a combined gross house income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• People with disabilities qualify if their combined home income doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and want not submit any evidence of income.
